An image may show one format while a selector offers another. A disagreement can also involve an outdated description or incorrect label. Identify which fields conflict and obtain a clear written specification instead of choosing the version that looks most convincing. The workflow is useful for an inquiry or a received-item review, but the evidence needed differs.<\/p>\n

Identify the source of each statement<\/h2>\n

Record URL, selected option and review date. Note whether each value comes from the image, selector, description or quote. A screenshot should include enough context to identify the selected item. This article uses hypothetical examples; it does not assert that a current product has the illustrated error. Preserve the source before requesting clarification so the supplier can locate the field rather than guessing what the buyer saw.<\/p>\n

Check fields that change the order<\/h2>\n

Compare identity, supplied form, mg or mL unit, amount per container and pack count. Add component schedule for blends. Separate cosmetic differences from identity or quantity changes. If solid amount uses mg and container capacity uses mL, ask what each field means. Not every mL reference should be converted to mg: liquid volume and container capacity can legitimately use mL. Editing letters without resolving the quantity creates a new ambiguity.<\/p>\n

Do not use an image to settle analysis<\/h2>\n

An illustration helps recognize a packaging style but cannot prove a supplied lot’s quantity or test result. Request the accepted specification and applicable document scope. Keep pictured label separate from batch result. A purity badge on an image is not independent analytical evidence. If acceptance depends on analysis, the laboratory reviewer needs a suitable record connected to the offered sample, not simply a better image of the same claim.<\/p>\n

Send a short field-by-field question<\/h2>\n

State both conflicting values and ask which governs the quote. Identify where each appears. A hypothetical selector might show 10 mg while an illustration shows 20 mg; ask for the quoted per-vial amount and whether the image is illustrative. Do not assume either quantity is actually available. Avoid pasting an entire description into the message when two precise lines would show the disagreement more clearly.<\/p>\n

Keep the correction and its history<\/h2>\n

Save the dated final specification and retain the original screenshot as resolved or superseded evidence. A revised quote should explain what changed. Do not release the affected line while identity or amount is unclear. Other lines can follow normal institutional review; an unclear image does not establish problems throughout the catalog. If a correction changes an already accepted order, ask the reviewer to reconsider that change rather than treating a website update as automatic approval.<\/p>\n
